Site Engineer

Job description

You’ll work closely with the project management and architectural teams to oversee the technical execution of construction projects. Your role is to ensure that site operations are carried out safely, on schedule, and in strict accordance with structural specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily on-site operations and supervise labor and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for accurate execution.
• Conduct structural integrity testing and apply survey techniques to maintain engineering precision.
• Ensure all site activities comply with HSE standards and industry regulations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and coordinate with the design team to implement practical solutions.

Requirements:

• First degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or Civil/Structural Engineering (Mandatory).
• 5 – 10 years of hands-on experience in construction site management.
• Professional Certification (COREN, NSE, etc.) is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.
