Head of Accounts & Finance

Job description

You’ll work closely with the executive leadership and department heads to steer the financial strategy and ensure the fiscal health of the organization. Your role is pivotal in overseeing high-level financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls to drive sustainable growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance department in preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop and manage corporate budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Oversee tax planning and ensure strict compliance with statutory regulations and audit requirements.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team to maintain high standards of financial discipline and reporting.
• Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights and recommendations for cost optimization and investment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, ANAN, CPA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in financial management, accounting, or auditing.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Prior experience in the Real Estate or Construction industry is a distinct advantage.
